Good morning, Hamilton County. The gateway to Northside's business district stands poised for a renaissance after 15 years of vacancy. A historic wood-framed building that weathered two major Ohio River floods in the 1930s may soon begin a new chapter as Northside NEST seeks proposals for its rehabilitation. This resilient structure at 4001 Hamilton Ave represents more than just a building—it's a testament to the neighborhood's enduring spirit and potential for transformation.

Meanwhile, autumn has officially descended upon Cincinnati with a kaleidoscope of weekend activities. From Factory 52's whimsical House of Cards Carnivale to the Cincy Bookstore Crawl connecting 23 local shops, fall festivities abound. Fountain Square recently transformed for the annual Moon Festival, where thousands celebrated Asian heritage through cultural performances, tea tastings, and mooncakes—a vibrant reminder that the moon's circular shape symbolizes harmony and equality, "Wherever you are on the edge of a circle, you're equals."
