Good morning, Hamilton County. The humble sandwich—that perfect handheld creation—has quietly become Cincinnati's culinary canvas for innovation. From Libby's two-fisted Fried Bologna BLT to the unexpected lobster roll hiding at Uncle Leo's dive bar, our city's sandwich scene offers edible masterpieces worth every napkin. These local treasures range from the perfect French Dip at French Crust to internationally-inspired offerings like La Torta Loca's protein-packed Cubana—each telling a delicious story about our diverse food culture.

As summer unfolds, both college students and art enthusiasts have plenty to celebrate. Budget-conscious students can enjoy free movie nights at Washington Park or catch a Reds game without breaking the bank, while the upcoming ArtWorks mural celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Obergefell v. Hodges ruling will soon transform Over-the-Rhine. The artwork, positioned across from Jim Obergefell and his late husband's former home, begins taking shape next month—adding another vibrant chapter to Cincinnati's evolving story.
