Good morning, Hamilton County. The shadow of political violence has touched our community as Congressman Greg Landsman's name was discovered on an assassination suspect's list in Minnesota. FBI investigators found the Cincinnati Democrat's information alongside other officials' names in suspect Vance Boelter's vehicle, which also contained multiple weapons. Cincinnati Police have provided additional security for Landsman and his family while authorities worked to apprehend the suspect.

In transportation news, a notoriously dangerous stretch of Clough Pike is finally receiving much-needed safety upgrades with high-friction asphalt being installed between Candlemaker Drive and Berkshire Lane. Meanwhile, there's reason to celebrate local journalism as WLWT leads Cincinnati broadcasters with an impressive 35 Ohio Valley Emmy nominations, including recognition for their coverage of the Daniel Carter Beard Bridge fire and the "Let's Talk Cincy" program's sixth consecutive nomination.

Melissa Hortman and her husband while wounding State Sen. John Hoffman and his wife. FBI investigators discovered Landsman's name alongside other officials' information in Boelter's vehicle, which also contained three AK-47 rifles and a handgun. Cincinnati Police provided extra security for Landsman and his family while the suspect remained at large. Landsman, who represents Ohio's 1st District, previously expressed concern as a Jewish congressman about potential violence.
