Frank X. Thernes

Frank X. Thernes, 83, passed away on June 6, 2025, after a life devoted to his family and work. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Anita Marie, and is survived by his son Patrick, sister Marguerite, and numerous nieces and nephews. Following retirement from the City of Cincinnati, he worked at Castelline Produce for over 20 years and was known for his love of comedy, often seen wearing his Red Skelton Museum shirt and Elder High School cap. Services will be held on June 12-13 at Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home and St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, with memorial donations directed to Elder High School or the Wounded Warrior Project.

Donna Lynne Smith

Donna Lynne Smith, 60, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Born on October 21, 1964, in Cincinnati, no funeral or memorial service is currently planned, with the family to notify loved ones when arrangements are made. Well-wishers can share memories on the online "Tribute Wall." Walker Funeral Home and Crematory is handling arrangements for the Smith family.

Virginia L. Werner

Virginia "Ginny" Werner (née Greger), aged 96, passed away on June 6, 2025, after 58 years of marriage to her late husband William Werner. She is survived by her children Richard (Mary) Werner and Brenda (Greg) Morford, along with four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members. Ginny was preceded in death by two of her siblings, Pete and Mel Greger. Her service will be held at Calvary Alliance Church in Cincinnati on June 10, 2025, with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
