Good morning, Hamilton County. Living in a city with the right neighborhood vibe can transform the college experience, and Cincinnati delivers options for every lifestyle. From Clifton's walkable streets bursting with campus spirit to trendy Over-the-Rhine's urban energy, UC students have a remarkable array of communities to call home. Each district offers its own character—whether it's Corryville's affordable housing and diverse eateries, Mount Auburn's budget-friendly accessibility, or the peaceful residential retreats of Hyde Park and Oakley.

Speaking of Hyde Park, residents are mobilizing with impressive speed to challenge a $150 million development, racing to collect 15,000 signatures before Friday's deadline. The referendum effort has already secured more than half the required signatures, drawing support from across Cincinnati. Meanwhile, youth programs throughout the city face significant challenges as federal funding cuts affect everything from ArtWorks' mural projects to AmeriCorps positions, impacting hundreds of young people who rely on these valuable opportunities.

🗳️ Hyde Park residents rally to overturn controversial $150 million development. A local group is racing to collect 15,000 signatures by Friday's deadline to place a referendum on the November ballot. The measure would ask Cincinnati voters to reconsider the City Council's recent approval of zoning for a Hyde Park Square development. As of last week, organizers had secured more than half of the 9,146 required signatures, with attorney Jeff Levine expressing confidence they'll meet their goal. The petition drive has gained support not just in Hyde Park but across the entire city.

The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra's free family concerts lost funding, and environmental education programs at Mill Creek Alliance were cut mid-year.
