🐰 Pet wisdom parade

Hamilton County • March 28, 2025

Good morning, Hamilton County. Did you know the Easter Bunny isn't the only rabbit making headlines this season? As spring hops into view, Cincinnati Edition's pet show is assembling a dream team of animal experts to tackle your burning questions about bunnies, birds, and all creatures in between. With Dr. Angie Callahan from MedVet Emergency, avian specialist Dr. Barbara Oglesbee, and dog trainer Dae Grodin on deck, pet owners can access timely advice just as adoption interest traditionally surges.

Meanwhile, cultural connections are blooming across our community. Teenage girls at the Links Leadership Academy are forging global friendships through African drumming and crafting bracelets for peers in Eswatini. And breaking musical barriers right here at home, Cincinnati's Laney McCormick continues to challenge gender assumptions while performing with prestigious groups like the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra—all while reminding aspiring musicians that success comes to those who "keep showing up."

🌍 Cincinnati girls connect globally through African cultural exchange. The Links Leadership Academy for Girls hosted a "GLOBAL CONNECTION" event where teenage participants learned about Eswatini through firsthand accounts. Girls enjoyed African drumming and dance instruction from Bi-Okoto Studio while sampling authentic traditional cuisine. They created friendship bracelets for young girls at the MOTI School in Eswatini, strengthening international bonds. The next Saturday Funday in April will focus on teaching public speaking skills for life.
