After serving as chief operating officer at Rivers Health in Point Pleasant, Turner will become CEO of Logan Regional Medical Center in late August. During his tenure at Rivers Health, he launched a new emergency department construction project, improved financial performance, and enhanced employee engagement. Marshall Health Network executives will provide interim leadership while searching for Turner's replacement. Scott Raynes, president of Marshall Health Network, expressed confidence in Rivers Health's continued success despite the leadership transition.
🎪 Ohio's Gallia County Junior Fair marks 76 years of agricultural tradition. The fair returns Monday with daily livestock showcases, new attractions, and significant infrastructure developments including a new horse barn and pavilion. Construction continues on a new livestock building as part of the fair's transition away from its current floodplain location to a 158-acre property purchased in 1999. From humble beginnings as a one-day show in 1950, the fair has grown into a major regional event with decades of continuous expansion and improvement. The fair board remains committed to providing opportunities for local youth to exhibit their talents while creating a tradition that brings together the entire community.

Holdren, include serious offenses like felonious assault, drug possession, and child endangerment. Mary Mills of Gallipolis faces the most severe charges with two counts of felonious assault and one count of aggravated assault. Several individuals were indicted for drug-related offenses, primarily involving methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana. All cases will proceed in Gallia County Common Pleas Court, with all charged individuals presumed innocent.
