Jewel Franks

Jewel (Hamilton) Franks, age 90, passed away peacefully on April 26, surrounded by family. Born in Kentucky in 1935, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Sammy Lee, an infant son, her parents, a sister, and three brothers. Jewel leaves behind two sons, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and two siblings. A devoted member of the Old Regular Baptist faith for over 65 years, she was known for her loving personality and positive influence on everyone she met. Funeral services will be held on May 1, 2025, at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home with burial following at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
