🌷 Spring buzz

Gallia County • April 4, 2025

Good morning, Gallia County. April showers might bring May flowers, but this month is already blooming with activity across the River Cities region. From the musical performances at Twisted Vine Family Winery to glow-in-the-dark Easter egg hunts and cultural events featuring author John Morgan and the Ohio Valley Symphony, our community calendar is bursting at the seams with springtime energy.

While we celebrate the season's festivities, our thoughts are with those affected by Wednesday's serious crash on Route 2 near Krodel Park, where two people were critically injured when a dump truck collided with a passenger vehicle. On the baseball diamond, Meigs continues its dominance with a convincing 6-1 victory over Gallia Academy, while local softball teams are making their mark with impressive performances across the region. As the fields dry out and temperatures rise, our local sports scene is heating up right alongside our packed community events calendar.
