Gallia County • January 20, 2025

Good morning, Gallia County. When it comes to bringing missing people home, Ohio isn't just stepping up - it's assembling an all-star team. Governor DeWine's new specialized task force is bringing together the best minds in law enforcement, including our own Sheriff Matt Champlin, to revolutionize how we handle missing persons cases. It's like assembling the Avengers, but for an even more crucial mission.

While that team works to protect our most vulnerable, Gallia County Auditor Robert Jacks is fighting a different battle on the home front. His bold property tax relief plan aims to put the brakes on skyrocketing costs, especially for seniors and disabled residents. Between strengthening our safety nets and protecting our wallets, it seems our local leaders are determined to make 2024 a year of positive change.
