🏀 Victory at last

Gallia County • December 30, 2024

Good morning, Gallia County. Sometimes victory tastes sweetest when you've had to wait for it. Just ask the South Gallia Rebels basketball team, who transformed their home court into center stage for an unforgettable thriller, clinching their first win of the season in dramatic fashion. While the scoreboard finally tipped in their favor, it's the kind of perseverance that seems to be in the air around here lately.

Speaking of celebrating wins, the sheriff's office just rolled out the red carpet for their finest, with Deputy Owen Greene stealing the show at their annual awards banquet. And if you're wondering about the county's financial game plan for 2025, commissioners just gave the green light to a whopping $65 million budget - proving that whether it's on the court, in the community, or at the commission table, Gallia County is playing to win.
