Good morning, Fayette County. The secret to revitalizing small-town America might just be hiding in plain sight in central Ohio. Bellefontaine has become a national blueprint for community renewal through the strategic work of organization Small Nation—so successful that they're now exporting their model to help other towns like Circleville transform their own economic landscapes. It's a powerful reminder that America's heartland communities aren't just surviving but can actually thrive with the right approach.

Fall festivities and law enforcement made headlines this week as the Scarecrow Festival shattered attendance records with country star Eddie Montgomery headlining, though Sunday's celebrations got a premature shower when afternoon rain rolled in. Meanwhile, the Sheriff's Office conducted a busy week of enforcement from September 15-19, addressing everything from serious felonies to traffic violations throughout Washington Court House and surrounding areas.
