🏢 Highland County's records building finally ready after 300-day delay. The project, which cost nearly $2.8 million, was originally scheduled for completion in November 2023 but faced numerous delays, resulting in $500 daily liquidated damages. The building's completion comes over three years after commissioners first took action on the project, purchasing the Beech Street lot in May 2022 and contracting with McCarty Associates for design services.
