Good morning, Fayette County. The aroma of fresh doughnuts will soon fill more of Central Ohio as Parlor Doughnuts continues its impressive expansion. With creative flavors like French Toast and Turtle Cheesecake, this Indiana-based chain has grown from startup to over 100 locations in just five years, proving that Americans' love affair with breakfast treats shows no signs of slowing. Their second location opens in Lewis Center on August 9, bringing their signature layered pastries and breakfast sandwiches to more hungry residents.

Meanwhile, small-town charm meets modern revitalization in Jeffersonville, where the $823,000 "Renaissance Jeffersonville" project is breathing new life into historic Main Street. As these commercial spaces find new purpose, the region's real estate market continues to thrive, with New Albany topping central Ohio's housing rankings at an eye-popping $800,000 median price. From Powell's $675,000 homes to Hilliard's more modest $462,500, the numbers paint a clear picture of our area's diverse housing landscape.
