Good morning, Fayette County. The ripple effects of a cyber attack have washed over Washington Court House, disrupting everything from email systems to water bill payments. As city officials work to restore normalcy, they're reminding residents that in today's digital landscape, malware can strike anywhere. The situation highlights our growing dependence on technology—and the vulnerability that comes with it—as residents are asked for patience while investigators examine compromised servers.

In brighter news, Paint Creek Lake will transform into a haven of appreciation next May when Operation Fish With a Hero welcomes veterans and their families for a day of complimentary fishing and camaraderie. The heartwarming initiative stands in stark contrast to recent transportation troubles, where a bus carrying 35 students was involved in a collision after a driver failed to yield at a stop sign, resulting in multiple injuries and a reminder about roadway vigilance.
