Good morning, Fayette County. The familiar buzz of community commerce returns next week as the beloved Farmers Market springs back to life on May 10. With live music, food trucks, and a mix of familiar and new vendors, this seasonal tradition embodies the county's commitment to celebrating local agriculture and strengthening community bonds. The Wednesday markets at TSC parking lot will follow shortly after, creating multiple opportunities to connect with local producers and their fresh offerings.

While some community members prepare to gather at the market, local law enforcement has been busy maintaining public safety. A significant 18-year prison sentence was handed down in a Robinson Road arson case, while quick police work led to the arrest of two Columbus men caught in the act of breaking into storage units. The suspects' vehicle contained not just break-in tools but also weapons and suspected narcotics—a reminder of the ongoing vigilance required to keep our neighborhoods secure.
