The Advanced Illness Management (AIM) Clinic in Lancaster, Ohio has served 660 patients with progressive illnesses since opening last September. Offering symptom management, care coordination, and advance planning, the clinic has expanded to occupy its entire facility. With five nurse practitioners, a medical director, and a social worker, the team helps patients manage symptoms while reducing hospitalizations. FAIRHOPE's CEO Kristin Glasure emphasized the clinic's importance in providing medical care while allowing patients to maintain independence.
🐱 Affordable pet sterilization clinics aim to control cat population. The Pet Orphanage is hosting two cat spay/neuter clinics in October, with registration opening October 4 at the Hocking County Fairgrounds. The first-come, first-served registration begins at 9:30 AM, though lines form early. Services are priced at $80 for females and $50 for males, including required rabies vaccinations. The actual clinics will take place on Sundays, October 12 and 19, helping local pet owners access affordable veterinary care.
