Good morning, Fairfield County. The unmistakable rumble of American muscle will echo through downtown Lancaster this Sunday as the Ohio Corvette Club Alliance celebrates its 20th annual gathering. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Main Street transforms into a showcase of automotive passion where enthusiasts share stories across gleaming hoods—a tradition that's called Lancaster home since 2005, blending community spirit with the enduring allure of America's sports car.
Beyond celebrations, our community reflects on sobering realities after 23 lives were lost on Ohio roads during Labor Day weekend. Meanwhile, art brought people together across central Ohio, from Upper Arlington's 59th annual Arts Festival—where Ed Kitchen finally claimed first place after four decades of participation—to Newark's traditional Labor Day parade. These longstanding traditions continue to weave the fabric of our communities, reminding us that shared experiences, whether joyful or reflective, ultimately strengthen our connections.
