The Climate Prediction Center forecasts higher chances for below-normal temperatures, with highs primarily in the 60s instead of the typical mid-to-upper 70s. Relief is on the horizon, however, as early June should bring a pattern shift with temperatures returning to normal and even above-normal levels. Donald James Regan Jr. Donald James Regan Jr., 77, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away on May 1, 2025. Born in Connecticut and raised in Massachusetts, he served in the United States Air Force, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant and receiving a Purple Heart Medal. After his military service, he worked for the Lancaster Police Department for over 20 years, rising to the rank of Lieutenant. He is survived by his two sons, grandchildren, siblings, and extended family members, while being preceded in death by his parents and stepson. |  |
