Good morning, Fairfield County. Graduation season has arrived, bringing with it a wave of nostalgia across our community. The stunning photo galleries from Berne Union and Bloom-Carroll High Schools transport us through timeโ€”capturing everything from emotional hugs with faculty to the timeless tradition of cap-tossing celebrations. These visual time capsules, some dating back to 2005, showcase not just changing fashions but the enduring rituals that mark this pivotal milestone in young lives.

While we celebrate educational achievements, the Pet Orphanage is addressing another community need with their affordable cat spay/neuter clinic on May 25. Registration opens this Saturday at the Logan-Hocking County Library, with early birds lining up on Walnut Street for the first-come, first-served program. At just $50-80 including rabies vaccination, it's a practical solution to pet overpopulation that benefits both animals and residents alike.
