Good morning, Dev Test County. Move over, Wall Street – Dallas-Fort Worth is flexing its economic muscle as America's emerging business powerhouse. The Dallas Morning News is doubling its Business Sunday section to showcase the region's remarkable boom that now fuels nearly 40% of Texas's massive $2 trillion economy. With financial giants like NYSE and Goldman Sachs planting flags in North Texas, this expansion isn't just making headlines – it's rewriting them.

Meanwhile, Mother Nature is reminding us who's really in charge as severe thunderstorms rattle through with 60 mph winds and "continuous cloud to ground lightning" – adding flash flood concerns to our weather worries. On the roads, a multi-vehicle crash temporarily snarled I-30 traffic near Hunnicut Lane on Saturday, though thankfully without injuries. By late afternoon, vehicles were flowing freely again – unlike our skies, which promise more stormy drama overnight.
