Good morning, Cuyahoga County. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony is about to get a serious dose of Detroit energy. Michigan punk icon Iggy Pop is slated to present at the November 8 event, fueling speculation he'll induct fellow Motor City legends The White Stripes. The star-studded Los Angeles ceremony will feature an impressive lineup of presenters including Elton John and Olivia Rodrigo, with the entire celebration streaming live on Disney+ for music fans nationwide.

While Cleveland celebrates its musical connections, the city faces some sobering economic realities. A new WalletHub study ranks Cleveland second nationally for grocery spending as a percentage of income, with residents dedicating nearly 3.8% of their monthly earnings to food essentials. On the public safety front, a strategic police operation paid off when officers apprehended a 15-year-old car theft suspect early Tuesday morning, part of ongoing efforts to combat the recent surge in vehicle-related crimes across the city.

🛒 Cleveland ranks second for highest grocery spending as a percentage of income. A WalletHub study analyzed grocery costs in 100 major cities, comparing prices of common items to median household incomes. Cleveland residents spend 3.77% of their monthly income on groceries, largely due to the city's low median income of $39,187 per year. Detroit topped the list at 3.78%, while other Ohio cities also ranked high: Toledo (5th), Cincinnati (8th), and Columbus (26th).
