Good morning, Clermont County. The curtain rises on a potentially historic moment for Cincinnati's theater scene as "Mythic" makes its world premiere at the Cincinnati Playhouse on September 20. This Broadway-bound pop-rock reimagining of Greek mythology boasts creative firepower from the minds behind Hamilton and Wicked, giving local audiences a rare first look at what could become the next big hit on the Great White Way.

Meanwhile, seasonal thrills and chills are transforming our region. Kings Island's Halloween Haunt returns September 19 with its signature scares now featuring premium experiences like "The Conjuring: Beyond Fear" – though your wallet might find the new à la carte pricing structure scarier than the attractions themselves. On a more sobering note, Newport residents can breathe easier following the arrest of a fourth suspect in the recent shooting incidents that left the community on edge, with a 19-year-old now facing attempted murder charges.
