Good morning, Clermont County. The radical act of finding common ground takes center stage at Cincinnati Nature Center's upcoming "Birding to Change the World" event. Author Trish O'Kane's remarkable journey from strangers to allies in protecting an urban park offers a timely blueprint for conservation through relationship-building rather than confrontation—a refreshing approach in our often-divided times.

Nature's bounty will be on full display at the Center's "Taste of the Land" progressive dinner, where adventurous diners can savor hyper-local foraged foods while exploring native perennial polyculture plots. Meanwhile, community solidarity takes shape in Cincinnati as residents prepare to gather at City Hall on August 14 for the "Black Men Stand for Iris" rally, supporting longtime police reform activist Iris Roley following a petition calling for her termination. The demonstration highlights ongoing conversations about accountability and community relations.
