Good morning, Clermont County. The sound of gunfire shattered the peace in Cincinnati's West End early Sunday morning, leaving two teenagers injured in a troubling overnight shooting. As police investigate bullet-riddled cars and damaged community buildings, the incident serves as a sobering reminder of ongoing safety challenges facing some neighborhoods, even as summer activities bring positive energy to other parts of the region.
On a brighter note, young musical talent took center stage at the Queen City Rock Fest, where budding guitarists and drummers from School of Rock locations showcased impressive skills at Element Eatery. This celebration of youth creativity kicks off a week packed with diverse entertainment options – from discounted zoo visits and Reds games to the vibrant Anime Ohio convention.
