Good morning, Clermont County. The University of Cincinnati has crowned its newest royalty with Evan Phelps receiving the prestigious Mr. Bearcat title for 2025. This impressive business economics graduate embodied the true "Bearcat Spirit" through five co-op experiences and executive leadership roles, joining a tradition dating back to 1949 that recognizes one exceptional graduating man annually.

Meanwhile, stories of both crime and heroism are making headlines across the region. At Cincinnati Premium Outlets, a Skechers employee faces felony charges after allegedly pocketing over $6,300 through fake customer returns. In more somber news, the community mourns Deputy Larry Henderson, whose four-decade legacy of extraordinary public service ended tragically when he was killed while directing traffic. The 57-year-old Marine veteran and father of five was remembered for his lifesaving impact as a trainer and his "dedicated drive to serve."
