The evening will feature enchanting spoken word and musical performances, along with fun activities for children, followed by a potluck meal. Celebrated since 1966, Kwanzaa honors African American culture and community values through its rich traditions and principles.

In their final meeting, the council approved several significant ordinances, including a $65,610.40 purchase order for pavement rehabilitation at Grimes Field Airport.
