As Giving Day approaches on April 2, this storied publication is seeking community support to fuel the extras that transform students into competitive job candidates, from networking trips to essential equipment.
The creative spirit is blooming across Athens this spring. While The Dairy Barn Arts Center opens registration for classes spanning pottery to fiber arts, the OHIO Dance Team is leaping into action with performances that showcase Bobcat talent. From their free competition kick-off on April 6 to representing our community at national competitions in Orlando, these dancers embody the artistic energy that makes our corner of Appalachia so vibrant as the seasons change.

π¨ Spring creativity blooms at The Dairy Barn Arts Center. Registration is now open for an exciting array of spring classes and workshops covering pottery, glass, painting, drawing, and fiber arts. The session runs from March 25 to May 25, 2025, with various start and end dates for different courses. π Ohio University Dance Team springs into action with performance-packed season. The team is hosting multiple events including a free competition kick-off on April 6 at the Convocation Center, where they'll showcase their pom and jazz routines. From April 10-14, the dancers will represent OHIO at the Dance Team Union's College Classic in Orlando, competing against teams nationwide. The spring calendar also includes a Community Dance Clinic on April 26 and official performance team tryouts on April 27, open to all Bobcats. These events reflect the team's commitment to community engagement while highlighting student talent from the School of Dance.
