Good morning, Athens County. While Hollywood churns out movies about career angst, WOUB is tackling the real story. Five recent Ohio University grads are stepping up to share their unfiltered tales of navigating the media world - complete with plot twists, career pivots, and yes, plenty of pizza. Think of it as a real-life version of "The Devil Wears Prada," minus the designer labels but with extra authenticity.
Meanwhile, Mother Nature decided to give returning students a proper winter welcome, transforming our campus into a scene straight out of "Frozen." The Level 3 snow emergency might have closed campus, but it opened up a whole new playground - with impromptu sledding by Peden Stadium proving that even weather emergencies can have a silver lining. And for those seeking warmth after all that winter fun, Nelsonville Legion Post is serving up the kind of comfort food that makes Ohio winters bearable.

❄️ Ohio University's winter wonderland forces campus closure amid heavy snowfall. The Athens campus and surrounding areas were placed under a Level 3 snow emergency, transforming the historic grounds into a picturesque snow-covered landscape. Students returning from winter break found themselves navigating frozen paths and enjoying impromptu winter activities like sledding and cross-country skiing near Peden Stadium. University staff worked tirelessly behind the scenes to clear sidewalks and maintain campus safety during the weather event. The iconic Cutler Hall, which has weathered over 200 winters since 1816, stood majestically among the snow-dusted College Green, embodying the timeless charm of an Ohio winter.
