Norse myths, polka, and hip-hop walk into a bar... 🍺
Good morning, Cuyahoga County. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially your new neighbors — the couple just dropped serious cash on a lakefront home in Bratenahl, which means Lake Erie just became the most famous shoreline in America. Welcome to the neighborhood. On a more community-minded note, Cleveland Heights is inviting residents to help shape the future of Cumberland Pool, so if you have opinions about your local swim spot (and who doesn't), Tuesday's public meeting is your moment.
Nationally, markets are having a rough stretch — rising yields, oil prices, and global tensions are keeping investors on edge. On the brighter side, Ragnarok Storytelling, Cleveland Oktoberfest, and the Akron Authors Convention are all landing this week, plus fresh local real estate listings are inside — perhaps inspired by a certain celebrity purchase.
