A sound bath in a cave?! Plus fur babies need homes 🐾
Good morning, Delaware County. Downtown Delaware may be about to check into a new era — the city is eyeing its first-ever hotel in the downtown core, tucked near Ohio Wesleyan's campus on Spring Street. Meanwhile, Powell is thinking big with a $60 million capital plan that'll shape the city's roads, parks, and future for the next five years. On the national front, the Fed hiked interest rates for the first time since 2023, rattling Wall Street and reigniting the debate over where the economy is actually headed.
Closer to home, the weekend has plenty going on — the Humane Society is hosting an adoption event, there's a Cave Sound Bath experience if you're feeling adventurous, and Storytime is back at the library. Fresh real estate listings are inside too.
