Schools in crisis + tap shoes, Norse myths & polka? 🤯
Good morning, Cuyahoga County. November 30th is circled in red for Parma City Schools, which has until that deadline to hand Ohio a financial recovery plan addressing a $16 million deficit — not exactly the kind of homework anyone wants assigned. On a brighter note, Cleveland is spreading $253K across 24 small businesses through its Steelyard TIF grant program, with neighborhoods like Tremont, Ohio City, and Slavic Village all getting a piece of the pie. And Parma's West Ridgewood Bridge upgrades are officially in the books — ribbon cut, hard hats off.
Nationally, a blowout jobs report sent Wall Street into a bit of a spiral, because apparently good news is complicated now. Closer to home, Oktoberfest taps the kegs Thursday, the Syncopated Ladies bring the footwork Wednesday, and fresh real estate listings are waiting inside.
