Your great-grandkids will sit under THIS tree someday 🌳
Good morning, Ross County. Chillicothe is about to plant a piece of living history — literally. On September 8th, the city joins Ohio's America 250 celebration with a ceremonial tree planting, the kind of thing your great-grandkids might someday sit under and have no idea how it got there. It's a quietly beautiful way to mark 250 years of a nation still figuring itself out.
If you're looking to fill the rest of the week with something equally memorable, the events calendar is stacked — Children's Storytime, an Autumn Paint Night, and a Happy Bird-Day Book Launch are all on deck. Fresh real estate listings are inside too, in case you're in the market for your own little piece of Ross County history.
