Good morning, Cuyahoga County. Ballot season is coming for your wallet — the county just launched online tools to help homeowners calculate exactly how much November levies could add to their tax bills, and "hundreds more annually" is a phrase worth knowing before Election Day. On a heavier note, a Rainbow Terrace explosion survivor brought Cleveland City Council to a standstill with emotional testimony, and a Cleveland officer was arrested following a disturbing online sting operation involving a minor.
On Wall Street, Berkshire Hathaway sprinkled some Buffett magic on homebuilders, the Nasdaq notched back-to-back records, and oil prices kept sliding — not a bad week for your portfolio. Tonight's events range from an Innovation Lab orientation to Norse mythology storytelling, which is quite the range. Fresh listings are inside too.
