Roads are drying — and October's about to get weird 🎃
Good morning, Jackson County. Thursday's storms didn't mess around — heavy rain sent floodwaters across the county, forced water rescues, and shut down Jackson City Schools for the day. Nature has a way of rearranging everyone's plans without asking. On the national front, mortgage rates just hit their highest point in over a year, Wall Street had a rough go as yields climbed, and private payroll growth is cooling — the kind of economic weather that makes Financial Friday's credit score advice worth a read.
Once the roads dry out, there's a lot to look forward to — a public hearing on regional power-grid upgrades is coming to Jackson High School Auditorium, and the fall events calendar is stacking up nicely with live music, a craft workshop, and fresh Real Estate listings inside.
