🏭 A shuttered Ohio paper mill is getting a dramatic second life. The former Pixelle Specialty Solutions plant in Chillicothe, which closed last year eliminating 800 jobs, will be redeveloped into a multi-industry campus featuring a data center, amphibious airplane manufacturer, and medical glove company. The new tenants represent an estimated $1.5 billion in investment and could generate hundreds of jobs, including up to 200 direct manufacturing positions. The site will also house a high-performance AI computing campus powered by AMD semiconductor technology.
