A horse parade, a craft market & justice finally coming 👀
Good morning, Delaware County. A September 22nd trial date is now set for the truck driver accused in the deadly I-71 crash that took a local family of three — a case that's been weighing on this community since it happened. On the national front, the U.S. struck Iranian oil tankers, Nvidia dropped $12.9 billion to acquire AI platform Hugging Face, and Wall Street slid after a strong jobs report reminded everyone the Fed isn't done being stubborn about rates.
Manufacturers are feeling the squeeze as new orders cool and inflation lingers in the supply chain — not exactly the vibe heading into fall. On the brighter side, the library calendar is serving up a full week of storytimes for the little ones, and fresh real estate listings are waiting inside.
