Deer rules flipped & your weekend just got way more interesting 🦌
Good morning, Meigs County. Fall is officially knocking — deer season rules just changed, youth baseball fields in Middleport and Pomeroy got a fresh upgrade for 700 kids, and the weekend calendar is stacking up nicely with Dragon Tales, French Colony Summer Nights, and CEO Speedwagon at Eclipse. Not a bad stretch for a county that knows how to use its evenings well.
On the less cheerful side of things, a domestic incident Sunday night ended in arrest for one Meigs County man — the full details are inside. Nationally, U.S. business activity hit a four-year high even as consumer confidence dipped, the national debt crossed $40 trillion, and Meta settled a big legal fight over young users. Busy world out there — good thing you've got this to sort through it.
