🎶 Pomeroy's riverfront comes alive with music, frogs, and rubber ducks. The annual Pomeroy Sternwheel Regatta returns Sept. 24–26, packing three days with live performances, a 5K run, chili cook-off, and a $500 rubber duck race along the Ohio River. Opening night features Carl Acuff Jr., a road-tested entertainer with over 5,000 shows across 47 states, while Saturday night closes with Athens-based nine-piece New Orleans R&B outfit The Wild Honeybees.
