When 911 goes silent, what's your backup plan? ๐ฌ
โ
Good morning, Franklin County. For a brief stretch Sunday, dialing 911 in parts of Columbus simply didn't work โ a sobering reminder of how much we rely on systems we never think about until they fail. Service has since been restored, but it's the kind of news that sticks with you. Separately, a deadly crash on U.S. 33 claimed a 23-year-old life, and an armed man was taken into custody at a political event in Mahoning County โ two stories worth reading carefully inside.
On a lighter note, the jobs report gave Wall Street something to smile about, and Franklin County has plenty going on this week โ from a pen drawing class to an Andy Warhol exhibit to a train station tour on September 13th. Sports scores and fresh Real Estate listings are inside too.
