A dispensary shutdown + 14 rescued pups + live music this week 🐾
Good morning, Jackson County. A local dispensary going dark after reports of adverse health effects from a vape product is the kind of story that puts public safety front and center — and it's one worth watching closely as investigators piece together what happened. On a warmer note, fourteen flood-stranded pups found their way to safety in Central Ohio, which feels like exactly the kind of ending a tough week deserves.
Nationally, Wall Street had a bumpy stretch — jobs came in strong, rate hike chatter picked back up, and markets couldn't quite find their footing. But hey, the weekend has better things in store. Jacob Tolliver brings live dinner music September 17th, the Jackson Band takes the stage the 26th, and fresh Real Estate listings are waiting inside. Plenty to look forward to.
