Good morning, Franklin County. Columbus just made sports history β and not on the field. The city is now the first in the country to offer free period products at every major sports venue, from Ohio Stadium to Nationwide Arena. A local company called Aunt Flow has been quietly installing dispensers for a decade, and now they're everywhere. Meanwhile, a fleeing driver crashed into a Columbus police cruiser early Monday morning in Franklinton β the officer was treated and released, and two people were detained. Commissioner Erica Crawley is also back in the spotlight over Post Malone concert tickets, as questions swirl around a veterans event sponsorship.
Bond markets hit multi-decade highs and chip stocks caught a boost from Micron's rosy outlook β October is already living up to its reputation. Sports scores, fresh Real Estate listings, and In Remembrance are all inside too.

Erica Crawleyβs VIP concert tickets could face state ethics inquiry
ποΈ A county official's concert tickets may trigger an ethics probe. Franklin County Commissioner Erica Crawley is under scrutiny for accepting VIP tickets and wristbands to a July 2 Post Malone concert at Historic Crew Stadium. The county's Veterans Service Commission had contributed $250,000 to fund the Salute 250 veterans event. The Columbus Inspector General's office provided The Dispatch with a letter dated Sept. 29 requesting an Ohio Ethics Commission investigation, but later said the letter was only a draft and never sent.
