A ghost workshop, a magic ball & more dry-land fun inside 👻
Good morning, Jackson County. The rain wasn't messing around this week — heavy flooding put Jackson County under a governor's emergency declaration, with flash flood warnings calling out Jackson, Wellston, and Coalton by name. It's been a real "check the road before you drive it" kind of stretch. On a warmer note, the community showed up big for the Walk to End Alzheimer's, which is exactly the kind of small-town moment that reminds you why this place is worth the occasional flooded road.
On Wall Street, the Nasdaq notched another record while Berkshire Hathaway's stake in Lennar gave homebuilding stocks a serious confidence boost — something to keep in mind as you browse fresh local Real Estate listings inside. And when you're ready to dry off and get out, the Jackson Band concert on September 26th and the Buckeye Fall Festival on October 3rd are waiting.
