Good morning, Franklin County. It was a rough weekend on Columbus's east side β two separate shooting incidents left multiple people hospitalized and one man dead, and a quick-moving murder investigation ended with a suspect arrested in Logan after a stabbing in the early hours of Friday morning. Police are still piecing things together on the shootings and asking the public for help. On the economic front, a sluggish jobs report has Wall Street second-guessing itself, and nearly 1,400 Ohio workers felt the sting of Boeing layoffs β a tough reminder that the broader economy isn't exactly humming along.
On the brighter side of the ledger, fall is fully here and Franklin County is leaning in β Pink Purse Bingo, Pumpkins Aglow, and a Fall Family Festival are all on deck this week. Fresh Real Estate listings are inside too.
