A commissioner's walk of shame + your wildest weekend yet 👀
Good morning, Franklin County. Someone's got some explaining to do at Columbus City Schools — teachers rallied this week demanding real answers from the board about rising health costs, and they brought a crowd. Meanwhile, a Franklin County commissioner wrote a personal check for $1,420 in parking tickets after county funds were mistakenly used to cover the tab. And with Election Day closing in fast, Columbus voters are sizing up Issue 9, a City Council expansion that could come with a hefty price tag for taxpayers.
On the national front, Skydance just swallowed Warner Bros. in an $81 billion deal, putting CBS and CNN under one Hollywood roof — a blockbuster move off the screen. Closer to home, the weekend is shaping up nicely: Iowa vs. Ohio State basketball, Drag Queen Bingo, and a 2000s throwback party are all on deck. Fresh Real Estate listings are inside too.
