Floods, suspects & a Welsh mystery hiding in plain sight π΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ Ώ
β
Good morning, Jackson County. Jackson made national headlines this week for all the wrong reasons β September 10th brought flash floods that swamped streets across the city, with multimedia journalist Jeremiah Shaver live-streaming the whole soggy scene from behind the wheel. Meanwhile, a police pursuit in southeastern Ohio ended in a grim discovery, with two murder suspects found dead inside a vehicle under circumstances still under investigation.
On the national stage, FEMA's staffing cuts got slapped down by a federal judge right as hurricane season heats up, and Wall Street spent the week tied in knots over interest rates and jobs data. Thankfully, the weekend offers a reset β Jacob Tolliver brings live music Wednesday, Welsh-American History Open Doors follows the same day, and fresh Real Estate listings are waiting inside.
