Good morning, Delaware County. Powell is hitting the pause button on marijuana businesses — city leaders are keeping their temporary moratorium in place while they take a longer look at how to handle things responsibly. Meanwhile, the markets are having a rough morning: escalating tensions between the U.S. and Iran sent oil prices climbing and had investors bracing for more turbulence. On a lighter corporate note, Ford hit a 20-year production high on Super Duty trucks, which feels like the kind of win that deserves a tailgate.
Uber is trimming 10% of its workforce, the NBA turned a salary-cap probe into a full soap opera, and Snowflake and Dell are riding the AI wave to strong results. Story time events kick off at local libraries this week for the little ones, and fresh real estate listings are waiting inside.
