One bright spot hiding inside today's tough news 🌱
Good morning, Ross County. September arrived with a rough start — a wrong-way driver on U.S. Route 23 sent four people to the hospital Thursday, and a Kingston day care worker now faces serious accusations of abusing children in her care. Two sobering reminders that some stories demand the community's full attention. On Wall Street, the month kicked off just as bumpy, with stocks sliding on rising yields, oil prices, and fresh Middle East tensions rattling investors.
Thankfully, the week also has a gentler side — the library is rolling out the Wheels on the Bus Craft, a Discovery Garden Family Playgroup, and Book Buddies Club all on Tuesday, which sounds like a solid reason to step away from the news cycle for a bit. Fresh local real estate listings are also waiting inside.
