Vikings, pirates & Wayne's World tonight? The weekend's unhinged 🤘
Good morning, Cuyahoga County. Mark your calendar: September 28th, the Glick Recovery Campus opens its doors, offering round-the-clock walk-in behavioral health services — no appointment, no barriers, just help when people need it most. It's a genuine community win, even if the long-term funding picture still needs some work. Meanwhile, county officials are quietly sharpening their pencils on budget cuts after spending outpaced revenue despite a strong General Fund — a reminder that healthy numbers don't always tell the whole story.
On the national front, the Fed nudged interest rates upward for the first time in years, which Wall Street handled with its usual grace. Closer to home, tonight's lineup includes a gem show, Norse mythology storytelling, and a Wayne's World tribute band — so the weekend is already winning. Fresh listings and a Financial Friday tip are inside too.
