Good morning, Cuyahoga County. It's been a heavy week locally — a body was recovered from the Cuyahoga River near Jacobs Pavilion, and an internal investigation is raising serious questions about missing funds inside Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Meanwhile, Mayfield residents could be heading to the polls next spring to weigh in on major rezoning of two former Progressive Insurance properties. Big decisions ahead for the neighborhood.
On the brighter side of your week, the live music calendar is stacking up nicely — New Wave Nation and a rock show at Bar 30 both land Friday, with Love Coffee kicking things off Wednesday night. Nationally, the S&P 500 hit another record and Paramount just pulled off an $81 billion mega-merger. Fresh local listings are waiting inside too.
